No matter the weather- for the past 33 years- the PA Forestry Association has rangled up some amazing people to help plant some trees. This year, even though it was rainy- we were able to find more than we have in the past few years! 25 people of all ages and skill levels braved the rainy weather and assisted the PA Forestry Association in our 33rd Tree planting ramble in Sproul State Forest.
Log A Load 2024 had a great day and a record number of shooters!
Our annual Log A Load clay shoot will be held Friday September 8, 2023 at Shenecoy Sportsmans's Club.
Mel and Marc Lewis of Hillsgrove were recipients of the 2019 Joseph T. Rothrock Conservationist of the Year Award presented at the Pennsylvania Forestry Association’s Annual Symposium at the Toftrees Resort in State College on September 27. The Rothrock Award given annually by PFA represents their highest recognition.

Since 2014, the Pennsylvania Forestry Association (PFA) has guided and administered the Lloyd Casey, CF Allegheny SAF Fellow Memorial Fund, honoring Casey, a PFA Past President who was a dedicated forestry educator.

At the 2019 PFA Annual Symposium, the Association presented its inaugural Mira Lloyd Dock Outstanding Woman Conservationist Award to Rachel Reyna.

PFA is a lead partner in the team for WALK IN PENN’S WOODS, the public working woods walks to be held in every county across the state on October 1, 2017.
